We are proud to have contributed to The Laureate Apartments, a 268‑unit mixed‑income, mixed‑use residential community in Derwood, MD. Situated at Westside at Shady Grove and steps from the Shady Grove Metro station, The Laureate opened in 2023 under Montgomery County’s innovative Housing Production Fund at LEED Silver standards.

Partnering with Bozzuto Construction, our scope included the design, fabrication, and installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops throughout all 268 units.

The Laureate has earned significant recognition for its design, impact, and innovation, including:

  • 2024 Jack Kemp Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing Award from ULI’s Terwilliger Center for Housing

  • 2024 Gold Nugget Merit Award from the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County

  • 2024 Multifamily Executive Award of Merit – Mixed-Income Housing

  • Great American Living Award for Best New Construction Mixed-Use
